Our story

At hey harlow we truly believe it’s the little things that make your home unique. Those interesting pieces you find at a local market, or in a small store hidden down some laneway you stumbled across when you went to that one place that one time.

We know that finding interesting and beautiful pieces to love can be hard, so we do the sourcing for you. Our aim is to bring the best independent Australian brands together in one place, making it easy to find items to love and cherish for years to come.

We work with a small (but growing!) range of Australian designers whose products we just love and really believe in, to achieve a highly curated and thoughtful selection of products for home and living. We value Australian design, conscious production and products that combine fine form with function - a value we share with all of the brands you’ll find here at hey harlow.

Meet our founder

Hello! I’m Gabriella Simonian, founder of hey harlow.

I moved to Brisbane from London in 2018 and immediately fell in love with Australian design. With so many beautifully crafted products being offered by small, independent brands and designers in the homewares space, I was constantly finding unique, design-led wares from small boutiques or weekend markets to add to my home.

But, I’d often lose track of where I’d bought things from. On top of that, I struggled to find somewhere I could shop online (hello comfort!) and find the styles and designs that I liked, that I could also have shipped at one cost. It prompted the idea to curate an online space that could bring all of these beautiful brands and products together in one place, and create a one stop shop for finding those perfect pieces for you and your home.

Combining a lifelong love and passion for beautiful interiors and a background in digital/technology delivery, I launched hey harlow from a spare bedroom in late 2018 with a small offering, that has continued to grow while staying true to our core values; beautifully designed and consciously crafted products that champion small Australian business and local partners.

I hope you love hey harlow as much as I do.
